In a rapidly growing world, quality over quantity is reshaping Western urban centers, exemplified by the Los Patos building. Buenos Aires’ preservation laws protect only the façade, allowing full interior transformations. This renovation project in Palacio Los Patos reflects that, as all interior walls were removed, opening up the entire space. A 75 cm high plinth now runs along the perimeter, serving as a versatile library, table, or seating. Finally, on a marble pedestal, a set of closets accommodates the functions that organize apartment life, blending function with modern design sensibility
