Factories have become housing units, garages have turned into art galleries, and train tracks have been transformed into linear parks. Like many contemporary city centers, Buenos Aires is undergoing transformation from within. This project converts a three-story 19th-century bourgeois house into a shop, atelier, and housing unit by introducing an autonomous interior perimeter that reorganizes the space. A modular steel wrap, made of panels in different materials, acts as an interior façade, redefining the space to accommodate new uses. Design Team : Santiago Giusto, Nelson Van Campenhout.
