Bozar is a vast and complex building, with numerous rooms and functions. The design of the Lobby and the Horta Hall is conceived to bring clarity and harmony to the space. The furniture is envisioned as an Ariadne's thread, guiding visitors from the street to the Horta Hall. At the heart of Bozar, we propose redefining a new center — a space for exchange, contemplation or performance, but one that can also be understood as an extension of the street, a public square. In the great Horta Hall, the project introduces three elements that let the space transform according to its uses throughout the day and night. Like an opera, the hall evolves. Three elements for a threefold promise: adaptability, habitability, and acoustic comfort. The canopy, a carpet, and the furniture.
